how to be ridiculously productive

Hey Reader,

I bet you wanna be as productive as you possibly can, right?

Being ΓΌber productive is something in our society that is treated like a very special accomplishment.

Raise 2 kids, work full-time, your house looks like it's taken straight out of an IKEA catalogue, working out 3 times a week, cooking healthy food every single night...

How the heck should any normal human being accomplish all of this?! πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜³

You wonder, I wonder - all of us wonder!

Some geniuses out there get all of this done it seems while others of us struggle.

The person with the IKEA home I just described here - this will never be me for sure. And it's perfectly fine.

Also you don't have to get up at 5 am and torture yourself with a cold shower and a strenuous workout in order to succeed in life. If you enjoy a bit of suffering, you can of course go for it, but I personally wouldn't. Cause I prefer not to torture myself with things I don't enjoy if I can prevent it.

But one thing I learned when it comes to productivity and that my friend is:

PRIORITIZING

Yes, that works. And you don't have to pay 10k monthly to a sleazy coach to figure this out!

Usually I start with the least favorable thing because this one is the hardest one.

Like everything tax related if that's on my to-do-list. OMG, who doesn't hate it?!

And of course household errands never stop - it is the never-ending-story of adult life. But cleaning my dishes and a clean sink shortly after getting up is already a small win early in the day. And that gives me energy to get more done afterwards!

Progress, not perfection. That's my motto - and believe me, it takes a lot of pressure off!

Because in the end, being productive shouldn't feel like a punishment. It should feel like clarity. Knowing what matters today and doing just enough of it to move forward. Step by step.

Don't overwhelm yourself. Set realistic goals like getting maybe 3 things done in a day and believe me, then you'll get them done!

Do the most dreading task first and call that a win.

Productivity isn't about punishing yourself - it's about setting priorities that feel doable!
